Is it
really true that we don’t judge the book by its cover?
I always
thought to have style and dress well and this is what people always said to me.
But working in the fashion system makes all really different. Because in this
world everyone thinks to be a “Fashion God”, judging everybody else look once
by the quality, once by the style, once by the brand..and, of course, the
lauder voice is always the one followed by the mass..So I found myself trying
to accomplish the “Fashion God” of the time and “losing my religion”, matching
clothes that I’d never even have considered myself!!
But we all
know the solution, don’t we? Let’s admit the cover IS definitely important.
Let’s admit that our idea of cover IS the most important. And through this
consciousness, try to find again ourselves and our personal taste. This is exactly
what I felt in front of this Carven red silk dress. It catches my eyes from the
first step inside the San Carlo btque. Truly amazing!
E’ proprio vero che l’abito non fa il Monaco?
Ho sempre pensato di vestirmi bene e con stile e questo è
ciò che la gente mi ha sempre detto. Ma lavorare nel campo della moda rende le
cose molto differenti: in questo mondo chiunque pensa di essere un “Dio”, giudicando
gli outfit degli altri una volta dalla qualità, l’altra dallo stile, l’altra
dalla marca.. e, ovviamente, la voce grossa è sempre quella seguita dalla
massa..Così mi sono trovata a cercare di compiacere il “Dio della moda” del
periodo e a perdere il mio gusto personale, usando e mischiando abiti che una
volta non avrei mai nemmeno considerato!!
Ma tutti noi conosciamo la soluzione, non è vero? Ammettiamo
che l’abito E’ importante. Ammettiamo che la nostra idea di abito E’ la più
importante. E attraverso questa consapevolezza, cerchiamo di ritrovare di nuovo
noi stessi e il nostro gusto. Questa è l’esatta sensazione che ho avuto di
fronte a questo abito rosso di seta di Carven. Ha catturato la mia attenzione
dal mio ingresso nella btque San Carlo. Davvero fantastico!
